Education should be liberating, not limiting. That conviction has guided my journey for over 15 years as a learning designer, career and leadership coach, and advocate for transformative learning. Whether I’m designing a workshop, coaching a client through a career pivot, or crafting a self-directed module, my goal is always the same: to empower learners to navigate change with confidence, clarity, and agency.
My path into this work is deeply personal. As a mother, poet, and author of Poems of Love and Life from a Simple Black Girl, I’ve long been drawn to storytelling as a tool for healing, reflection, and growth. These values shape how I approach learning design and career and professional development, especially when working with marginalized communities whose voices deserve to be heard, honored, and amplified.
Professionally, I specialize in instructional design, career development, leadership coaching, and learner-centered approaches. I’ve led projects spanning skill development workshops, career advising programs, and professional development initiatives. By blending creativity with instructional design expertise, I craft inclusive learning solutions that reflect the diverse realities of today’s workforce.
I leverage cutting-edge technologies to accommodate varied learning styles while prioritizing accessibility, collaboration, and growth. My multifaceted background allows me to infuse artistic expression and empathy into educational materials, creating experiences that are not only informative, but deeply impactful.
I hold a Master’s in Learning Design & Technology and am a NCDA Certified Career Services Provider. This blend of credentials and lived experience equips me to support learners at every stage of their journey, with rigor, compassion, and vision.
